The Government of Bihar has announced Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) / कुशल युवा कार्यक्रम under it`s flagship program 7 Nishyay Program for development and to provide good governance in the Bihar. Under the ambition Bihar Kaushal Vikas Mission (Skill Development Mission / कौशल विकास मिशन) the government of Bihar will provide language and basic computer trainings to the students and unemployed youth in the state. The state government will setup employment help centers along with state of art training centers. Training centers will provide all the necessary skills such as spoken and written language and basic computer skills for the job where as employment centers will help students and youth with registrations and will provide job opportunities. The CMs ambitious 7 Nishyay Program is focused on youth and has a motto Aarthik Hal, Yuwaoko Bal (आर्थिक हल युवाओंको बल) which aims to empower students and help them find a job. The Bihar Skills Development Mission along with State Labor Department will implement the scheme.
Skills Development Centers (कौशल विकास केंद्र):
- Skills development centers are opened in each of the districts in Bihar
- Centers will provide language and computer trainings to the students
- Centers will also help youth in employment registrations and finding jobs
Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) / कुशल युवा कार्यक्रम:
- Under the program basic written and spoken language will be taught
- Basic computer skills also will be provided
- The courses are 80, 120 and 40 hours classes which are completed in three months
Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) Eligibility:
- Students and youth in the age of 15-25
- Students who passed 10th or 12th
- Only residents of Bihar can apply
- Students who are still studying are not eligible
- Students who are searching for job in Bihar
- Students in the age group of 20-25 years who are given unemployment allowance (स्वयं सहायता भत्ता) need to go through the trainings
- Students who are 10th or 12th pass but cannot continue their studies further need to take these courses
Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) Required Documents:
- 10th pass marksheet / certificate
- 12th pass marksheet / certificate
- Residence proof
- AADHAAR card
- Bank passbook with all the details such as name, account details, name and branch of the bank, IFSC code etc
How to apply for Kushal Yuva Program (KYP) ?
STEP 1: Students and unemployed youth can apply for KYP using website and mobile app for MNSSBY (KYP online registration portal / Yuva Nischay Mobile App)
STEP 2: Students need to register first, click here to register
STEP 3: Specify your name, mobile number, email and click on Send OTP button
STEP 4: Once you receive OPT provide it and click on Submit button to proceed
STEP 5: You will receive further details such as login details, certificate required and Vasudha Kendra/Kaushal Vikas Kendra details and address to visit to complete the registration process
STEP 6: Go to the Vasudha Kendra/Kaushal Vikas Kendra, you will find “May I help you” counter there they will help you with the remaining procedure
STEP 7: Take the form from them, fill in the form correctly, attach all the required documents and submit the form
